The Sevillian studio T10 Team , which consists of about thirty architects and whose headquarters are located in the Plaza de la Magdalena, has completed the reform of the Benalmádena Beach Hotel . T10, which specializes in luxury architecture and water parks, has worked on an original building that, in the opinion of these architects, “was rough, untidy, lacking in interest and design, without openings, yellow and ochre in color, and boxed in”.
His intervention consisted of modifying the building and turning it into a “fluid, dynamic, white and iconic element”, optimizing the number of rooms and sea views.
The building has two distinct facades: a sculptural one, as if it were a mask of white petals, and another with powerful horizontal lines that enjoys spectacular views of the sea.
Francisco Santisteban, José Luis Pérez Halcón and Alberto Portilla have led this work on the Costa del Sol, which they consider “an architectural icon for Andalusia and a new model for the hotel sector”.
